Registration for SPRING 2025 classes is COMING UP!

The following will be offered at FSPG for the Spring 2025 session. 

1) There will be 1 Beginner Class on Thursday evenings, for 10 weeks. 

2) There will be 1 Workshop (non-instructed) for students for 10 weeks. This workshop will only be available to students who have taken  full Thursday Beginner Evening instructed class at FSPG within the past 2 years, or an Intermediate class at FSPG.   

Both of these classes will be online registration only through the Fort Sask Leisure Guide website. The Fort Sask Spring Leisure Guide will be available on March 3, 2025. Live registration will begin on Tuesday March 11, 2025 at 8am. We expect that both classes will fill very quickly.

Below are the details for both classes being offered for SPRING 2025.  All classes are held at the Guild, located in the DOW Centennial Centre, Fort Saskatchewan. 

BEGINNER ADULT POTTERY 10 weeks

Learn hand building techniques, glazing, and into to the potters wheel. 

Thursday Evenings, 6:30pm-9:30pm

April 3, 10, 17, 24

May 8, 15, 22, 29 (no class May 1st for Guild Pottery Sale)

June 5, 12

Ages: 18 yrs and up

Cost: $250. Additional costs including clay and tools (estimated around $60)

Maximum class: 12

INTERMEDIATE ADULT POTTERY 10 weeks

NO INSTRUCTOR! Must have previously taken Beginner Adult Pottery at the Fort Sask Pottery Guild within the past 2 years, or Intermediate Pottery Class.

Tuesday Evenings, 6:30pm-9:30pm

April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

May 6, 13, 20, 27

June 3

Ages: 18 yrs and up

Cost: $200. Additional costs including clay and tools (estimated around $60)

Maximum class: 15

At the Pottery Guild we keep the cost of our Classes and Workshops down through volunteer activity. Potters are required to contribute some time & elbow grease during the session, plus perform normal housekeeping chores as required. In addition, you are required to treat the studio an other peoples belongings with caution and respect.
